Client Voices
A friend told us that she had a wonderful roofing experience with Shekina Construction LLC. Our upper deck needed help, and I began seeking bids from contractors. Shekina Construction responded promptly and Ricardo and Isaias came to St. Helen’s from Gresham to look at the project. Within two weeks our design plans were firmed up and removal of the bad decking and reconstruction began.
The crew was dedicated to getting the work done and accomplished it within five work days.
A corner of the lower patio had cracked many years ago, and we brought them back to remove the broken area and replace it. They knew just how to match the texture of the concrete, tie in with rebar and create a firm foundation for the slab.
What I liked most was how willing they were to listen and help us achieve the end result that we were looking for.
Highly recommend! Very professional and fairly priced. Communication was top notch, which seems to be difficult to find with construction companies. I had a second story deck that was collapsing with stairs. They replaced the deck, all the railings, and re-did the stairs. The outcome is beyond beautiful and well beyond my expectations. Not to mention, they finished it in less than 2 weeks! I know I said this before, but it’s worth repeating, I would 100% recommend!
Have had great experiences with our two projects. The first project was with a chimney removal that many other contractors had said would require engaging multiple firms due to it requiring fixes to the roof, gutters, house frame and potentially the foundation in addition to removing the brick. They all seemed to want to pass the buck.
Shekina was able to complete the different parts all under the same project, and did so at a competitive price and at a high quality of work.
Later we reached out for a reroofing project, and again, high quality work at a good price. When the old roof was being removed, we noticed that a few plants got squished under some of the material after one of the workdays. Ricardo came to us before we had a chance to ask about it, telling us about the plants and offering to make it right. We did not take them up on it since the plants were okay and we respected the amount of work it took to remove the roof, but we appreciated the honesty and accountability demonstrated.
We will definitely be reaching out to Shekina for any future projects we have!
